PuTTy 

This is for logging into the server from a Windows machine. From a Linux machine, simply run ssh This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it in a terminal.

Tunnel through the Compsoc Server 

Want to access sites that you can't from outside College? Need to get at http://rte.ie from abroad? Basically, do you want to appear as if you are accessing the net from on campus? Then set up an SSH tunnel using the instructions at the link above.
